IM Norm Round Robin Tournaments

Tamil Nadu State Association holding IM Norm Round Robin Tournaments as per the following schedule:-

1.      Chennai : 16 – 21 Oct 23

2.      Pollachi : 23-28 Oct 23

3.      Madurai : 30 Oct – 04 Nov 23

4.      Kodaikanal : 06 – 11 Nov 23

5.      Kodaikanal : 12 – 17 Nov 23

6.      Chennai : 19 – 24 Nov 23

7.      Coimbatore : 26 Nov – 01 Dec 23

8.      Erode : 03 – 08 Dec 23

9.      Salem : 10 – 15 Dec 23

10.    Sivakasi : 17 – 22 Dec 23

Two players in each event will be filled by AICF and rest by the organizers. The selection will be based on merit considering the average Standard Rating of July, August & September 2023 FRLs, Norms already achieved, performance credentials in National and International events. 

Players (other than from Tamil Nadu) below the age of 20 years (both boys and girls) interested to participate in the event are requested to fill the application form and send by email to indianchessfed@gmail.com by 5 pm on 22 Sep 23. Please note that the selected player needs to pay Rs. 10000 as entry fee to the organizers.

All interested players note the same and avail the opportunity to achieve the norms.
