Nihal Sarin becomes third youngest 2600+ in the world

India’s Nihal Sarin became currently the world’s youngest player to cross 2600 Elo points on FIDE’s rating list. In the latest list released by FIDE on Saturday, the 14-year-old Grandmaster has reached the rating of 2606.

This makes him the third youngest player in history after John Burke and Wei Yi. Nihal is now ranked ninth in India.
