Mayak Chakraborty after drawing his game with white pieces in Sicilian Alapin variation is on 2.5 points. International Master PRANEETH, Vuppala suffered his second loss in the tournament against FM Simon Rybka of Slovakia and is on 2 points along with another Indian participant MANISH, Anto Cristiano who also faced his second defeat with black pieces.

ADIREDDY, Arjun suffered a loss and is on 2.5 points along with other fellow Indians Harsh Suresh, S.Rohit, and S.Aswath

Sachi Jain (2.5/3) had a winning position against higher rated opponent WFM Kaliakhmet Elmaz (KAZ) . Miscalculation in time pressure led the tables turn around and later she blundered Queen and lost.
