SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR OUTSTANDING SPORTSPERSONS
FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2021-22
1. OBJECTIVE
The objective of this scheme is to award Airports Authority of India (AAI) Sports
Scholarships to promising young players with a view to enhancing sporting
standards in AAI as also encouraging young talent.
2. AGE GROUP
The Scholarship will be given to the players over 14 years (as on 31.03.2021)
Commonwealth School Chess Championships – 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 4th to 12th October 2026. 
20th Asian Schools Chess Championships – 2026 in Tula region ,Russia from 1st to 11th October 2026. 
Asian Junior /Girls Chess Championships 2026 from 16th to 26th August 2026 in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Announcement : Medical Evaluation in Guwahati ,Assam on 15 & 16 June 2026 . 
Asian Rapid & Blitz Chess Championship 2026, scheduled to be held from 27th to 31st July 2026 at Hong Kong.
