Three Indians on sole lead

04 Apr 17 (Tashkent) :- Divya Deshmukh in Under-12 Girls, Tanmay Jain in Under-12 Open and Sahithi Varshini in Under-10 Girls took the sole lead in their respective categories with four points from as many rounds in the Asian Youth Chess Championship-2017 which is now under way here at Hotel Grande Plaza.

Divya beat Meruert Kamalidenova of Kazakhstan while Tanmay and Sahithi outwitted Mukhammadali Ibrokhimov of Uzbekistan and Reyhaneh Hajatniya of Iran respectively in their fourth round encounters.

While other overnight leaders Erigaisi Arjun in Under-14 Open and Jishitha D in Under-14 Girls maintained their joint lead by registering victories in fourth round against Thilakarathne GMH of Sri Lanka and WFM Asadi Motahare of Iran respectively while A R Ilamparathi in Under-8 Open also maintaining his joint pole position after settling for a peace treaty with second seed Alikhon Avazkhonov of host nation.

Under-18 Open :- Sai Vishwesh C (2.5) drewwith FM Yi Zhu of CHN (3.5); Arya Omidi of IRI (3) beat Pranavananda V (2); Kaustuv Kundu (2.5) drew with FM Ortik Nigamatov of UZB (2.5).

dscn0653-copyUnder-18 Girls :- WFM Alinasab Mobina of IRI (3) drew with WIM Aakanksha Hagawane (3); WIM Ivana Maria Furtado (3.5) beat Nilufar Yakubbaeva of UZB (2); Chandreyee Hajra (2) lost to Makhim Orazmukhammedova of UZB (3); Ananya Suresh (3) beat Dong Khanh Linh of VIE (2).
Under-16 Open :- Kayrat Abylksaymov of KGZ (1) lost to Mitrabha Guha (2).

Under-16 Girls :- WFM Anwesha Mishra (2.5) drew with Holida Nomozova of UZB (3.5); Saparova Sitora of UZB (2) lost to Toshali V (3).

Under-14 Open :- Thilakarathne GMH of SRI (3) lost to Erigaisi Arjun (4)

Under-14 Girls :- Asadi Motahare of IRI (3) lost to Jishitha D (4; Jyothsna L (2.5) lost to WFM Bach Ngoc Thuy Duong of VIE (4); Bommini Mounika Akshaya (2.5) beat Darina Baidalinova of KAZ (2).

Under-12 Open :- Yelimzhan Kali of KAZ (3.5) beat Manish Anto Cristiano (3); Pranesh M (3) beat Khamdamov Siyovush of UZB (2); Rohith Krishna S (3) beat Talaibek Zhainakov of KGZ (2).

Under-12 Girls :- WFM Divya Deshmukh (4) beat Meruert Kamalidenova of KAZ (3); Omonova Umida of UZB (3) lost to Rakshitta Ravi (3.5); Altanutyua Boldbaatar of MGL (2.5) drew with Bhagyashree Patil (3); Dhyana Patel (2) lost to Chinnam Vyshnavi (3); Kriti Mayur Patel (3) beat Maftuna Bobomurodova of UZB (2); Mokhinur Khabibullaeva of UZB (2) drew with Vishwa Vasnawala (1.5).

Under-10 Open :- Ibrokhimov Mukhammadali of UZB (2.5) lost to Tanmay Jain (4) ; Hoang Minh Hieu of VIE (3) beat Dev Shah (2).

Under-10 Girls :- Reyhaneh Hajatniya of IRI (3) lost to Sahithi Varshin M (4) ; Savitha Shri B (3) beat Ton Nu Quynh Duong of VIE (2); Kaldarova Ayaulym of KAZ (3) beat Riddhi R Patel (2).

Under-8 Open :- Ilamparthi A R (3.5) drew with Alikhon Avazkhonov of UZB (3.5); Sultai Chyngyz of KGZ (2) lost to Priansh Das (3); Sriansh Das (2) beat Asrorbek Omonov of UZB (1.5).

Under-8 Girls :- Amina Serikbay of KAZ (3) lost to Shefali A N (3.5); Mai Hieu Linh of VIE (3) beat Saineha R M (2); Suhaani Lohia (1.5) lost to Rukiya Olimova of UZB (2.5).
