FM Mitrabha, Panesar and Naga Sampath are co-leaders

Top Seed FM Mitrabha Guha (WB), Panesar Vadant (MAH) and Cheela Naga Sampath (AP) share lead with 5.5 points after six rounds in the National U-17 Open Chess Championship taking place at Gateway Education Campus, Sonipat, Haryana from September 3 to 11. The championship is being organized by Haryana Chess Association under the aegis of All India Chess Federation.

Round 6 had decisive results on all top boards. On board no 1. Mitrabha Guha (WB) beat Harshita Guddanti  (AP) in 51 moves.

Board No.2. Panesar Vadant (MAH) beat Vinay Thomas Abraham (KER)  in 36 Moves.

Three players share lead after six rounds. Followed by two more players with 5 points. Om Kharola (MAH) and Vaibhav Jayant Raut (MAH).

At the end of 6th round three share lead with 5 Points. Top Seed Arpita Mukherjee (WB), Priyanka K (TN) and Jyothsna L (TN). Followed by six Players with 4.5 Points. Mrudul Dehankar (MAH), Harshini A (TN),
Samriddhaa Ghosh (WB), Tejasvi M (TN), Garima Gaurav (Bihar), and Sanskriti Goyal (UP).
