ARBITER REFRESHER COURSES-2019

Kind Attention all the FIDE Licensed Arbiters

All India Chess Federation will be organizing Arbiter Refresher Courses for all the FIDE Licensed Arbiters  (NA/ FA/ IA) in India.  Attending the Refresher Course is mandatory for all the Arbiters (except all the A & B Classified International Arbiters and those who have successfully passed FIDE Arbiter Seminar after 20 Dec 18) to officiate in all FIDE Rated events, National and International events with effect from 01 Apr 19 onwards. The course will be free of cost and AICF will take care of the accommodation for 2 nights and lunch on all three days. Arbiters are required to take care of their travel expenditure. The Refresher course will be conducted in the following centers to ease the number of arbiters in each venue.   The schedule of the Refresher Courses is appended below:-

1. Delhi : 15 – 17 February 2019; The seminar will begin at 3 pm on 15 Feb 19 and will conclude at 2 pm on 17 Feb 2019. Accommodation will be provided from 15 Feb 19 afternoon to 17 Feb 19 forenoon. Lecturer: International Arbiter & FIDE Lecturer MS Gopakumar

3. Tamil Nadu: 23-24 March 2019; The seminar will begin at 10.00 AM on 23^rd March and will conclude at 04.00 PM on 24^th.Lecturer : International Arbiter & FIDE Lecturer R Anantharam.

The venue is National Engineering College, Kovilpatti, about 570 KMs from Chennai  Many trains are available om Chennai Egmore to Kovilpatti, Kanyakumari is 140 KMs south of Kovilpatti and Rameswaram is about 200 KMs.

    4. Bhopal : 29-31 March 2019; The seminar will begin at 3 pm on 29 March 19 and will conclude at 2 pm on 31 March 2019. Accommodation will be provided from 29 March 19 afternoon to 31 March 19 forenoon.
