FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar with the support of Sports Authority of India begins at Vatika Premier Hotel, Patna on Friday. Shri. Vinod Kumar, Under Secretary Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports inaugurated the event in presence of Shri Bharat Singh Chauhan, Hony Secretary All India Chess Federation and Shri. Diljeet Khanna, Chairman All Bihar Chess Association Ad-hoc Committee.
Thirty participants from West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Odisha are taking part in this three-day seminar. FIDE Lecturer and International Arbiter Gopakumar MS and International Arbiter Dharmendra Kumar are the lecturers and according to the performance in the seminar, participants will acquire their FIDE Arbiter Seminar Norm to become a FIDE Arbiter.
