Qualification criteria for the 46th Chess Olympiad 2026

46th Chess Olympiad is scheduled to held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, from September 15–27, 2026,As per the selection regulations of AICF, the final team will be selected on the basis of 3 months average rating of 1st May, 1st June and 1st July 2026.

The players need to play at least 9 games in the last six months (Feb ,March ,April , May , June & July 2026  FRLs) prior to selection date to consider for selection. Further, a bonus of 25 points will be added to the average rating of national champions.”
